We liked that it includes a few useful extras without a bunch of pointless filler features. Overall, Solid PDF Creator isn't fancy, but it is true to its name: a solid piece of software that does what it's designed to do without a lot of fuss. The program's built-in Help file is brief but adequate we're glad that it has one, but most users probably won't need to consult it. There are also settings for viewer preferences and document quality. Users can enter the PDF's title, subject, author and keywords, as well as add passwords and encryption. Users simply select Solid PDF Creator instead of their default printer, and the program opens a dialog allowing users to save the PDF in the desired location. Once the program is installed it appears as a printer in the Print menu of every program that has printing capabilities. Solid PDF Creator is attractive and easy to navigate.
